The way of the shaman, especially in technological western society, is elusive, magical and powerful. Siberian in origin, the shaman, men or women, were the ones trusted to bring myth and reality together. To perform ritual linking the natural world with the divine and believe ('to make allowance' in the language of old England) in the omnipotent presence of spirit within every human being. Illusionists, healers and masters of self, the shaman knew, truly knew, that there is far more to life than meets the eye.
